Your responsibilities
- Participates in the in-housing initiative which involves importing payroll data onto designated internal system, testing and implementation of payroll system.
- Updates and maintains payroll processing system and records.
- Works closely with team members involved in the in housing initiative.
- Processes payroll for clients' workers (“workers”) every pay period.
- Identifies, investigates and resolves discrepancies in timesheet and all payroll related tasks.
- Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law.
- Process payments to relevant authorities per statutory stipulated schedule, i.e. monthly tax payment to tax authority, etc.
- Completes payroll reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review.
- Process any changes in exemptions and job status.
- Responds to inquiries on salaries, deductions, attendance, time records and other payroll-related matters.
- Computes workers’ net pay based on time records, benefits, taxes and other relevant item.
- Ensure payslip is generated accurately, distributed timely and compliantly to workers.
- Updates and maintains client’s workers data in the database.
- Performs the distribution of salary through direct transfers to workers’ bank accounts or issuance of paper checks for certain countries.
- Ad hoc tasks as and when requested by the Company
Our requirements
- Work experience as a Payroll Specialist or a similar role
- Practice knowledge of payroll calculation in Poland
- Strong knowledge of payroll regulations in Poland
- Has working experience with payroll related systems and software (Platnik, Symfonia etc)
- Good knowledge of polish labor legislation
- Strong organizational skills and able to work under strict deadlines
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Polish
- Meticulous and has strong numerical skills (good with numbers)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Minimum tertiary education (post-secondary)
- Good knowledge of Polish language
