We’re currently looking for a Payroll Specialist with German

Your responsibilities

  • Support Payroll day-to-day activities with both employees and managers

  • Contact with German-speaking pensioners via email and phone

  • Produce working contracts and keep policies/procedures up to date

  • Communicate with third parties and other internal departments

  • Handle enquiries and assign priority as appropriate according to established SLAs/KPIs

  • Provide support of high-volume payroll activities/processing

  • Take ownership and make recommendations to improve payroll processes

  • File payroll input & output data for audit purposes

  • Provide assistance with the preparation of presentations for Customer Relationship Management meetings

Employer requirements

  • General understanding of Human Resource/Payroll concepts

  • Excellent oral and written communication in English and German

  • Flexible & adaptable to changes

  • Strong communication & customer service skills

  • Time management, ability to meet deadlines, SLAs & KPIs

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially in Excel

  • Detail oriented & problem solving

  • Empath & team player

As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for providing day-to-day running of payroll processes as well as undertaking various other administrative responsibilities for the HRSS function. You’ll rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals while maintaining the workflow in a high volume, fast paced environment. The ideal Payroll Specialist should be proactive, organized and able to deliver a high standard work product.
