About the project
Simply more booking - that’s our mission.
That’s why for over 14 years we’ve been providing software as a service technology and marketing services to hoteliers all over the world to improve their bookings, performance and efficiency.
Now, while having more than 3000 customers worldwide, we are looking for a PHP Tech Lead who will technologically lead our software development team and will act as a connection between the developers’ department and the CTO.
Your responsibilities
Providing technical direction to the team and being a key contributor
Responsibility for maintaining the overall architecture for all system/program/initiatives
Defining and applying development best practices in a large distributed development team
Ensuring a high standard of work through code reviews, coaching and management. Helping set and enforce quality standards and best practices within the team
Providing technical leadership and mentorship to other developers
Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders
Conducting and contributing towards the review and appraisal process for the team
Conducting training and mentorship to team members to make them better on the job
Being familiar with current technology and carrying out research to identify new trends that can be used to achieve maximum results
Optimising and automation
Our requirements
Technical Leadership experience (at least 2 years of experience on leadership position)
Highly desirable Microservices and/or PHP experience
Experience in working with multiple teams in 20+ developers company
Experience working in an agile/scrum environment
Good understanding of software architecture patterns
Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies and cascade to team
Advanced knowledge of English writing, and communication skills
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Team player and mentor for developers team
