In this role... you'll be a member of the Global Technical Operations Europe Finance team and support mainly Supply Chain and R&D Finance activities whilst working in a highly international environment.
You'll have an opportunity to... work in a fast moving and complex environment within the team that oversees Supply Chain operations in Europe and Laser R&D activities.

This exciting opportunity will have to ensure a successful integration of Solaris Laser, SA within Markem-Imaje Global Operations Framework.

Principal Duties / Mission:
  • Ensure that accounting flows are properly recorded within the analytical structure and support OPEX, CAPEX and headcounts reporting.
  • Support month end closing, cost roll and budget processes for defined perimeter. Work with team to propose and implement process improvements as judged necessary.
  • Responsible for Inventory control, valuation, reporting and analysis by plant, categories, including review of inventory transaction flows and quantity reconciliations. Co-ordinate physical inventories, cycles count and related variance analysis.
  • Responsible to establish strong basis for Cost Accounting and Product Line Profitability Analysis.
  • Responsible for internal controls and interface with SOX and statutory auditors. Collect and provide requested documentation upon request.
  • Manage Actual/Forecasting report.
  • Support Business Case for new products development.
  • Ad-hoc analyses, as required by Finance management.
  • Finance go to person for supporting the site.

  • Master’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 year’s relevant experience in an industrial or fast-moving environment preferred. Previous experience in an audit firm is a plus.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills. Fluent in both Polish and English.
  • Strong PC skills: experience with financial systems a must, SAP and BW preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in team as well as independently.
