Your responsibilities
- responsible for the efficient ramp-up of the new manufacturing site,
- organization of production on site and coordination of the production of all segments,
- organization of logistics (manufacturing logistics/procurement/supply chain),
- organization of the manufacturing technology and industrial engineering with a strong focus on assembly and testing processes,
- ensuring the implementation of standard processes for operations and IT systems for the whole site, across all product groups,
- implementation and continuous improvement of the Knorr-Bremse Production System,
- provision of the required products at optimized manufacturing costs, meeting deadlines and quality demands,
- development, coordination and continuous improvement of the production organization and structure,
- responsibility for the implementation of optimization and improvement potentials to meet quality/cost goals,
- agree on, control and ensure the delivery of goals within the Plant Manager role, derived from both company and corporate goals,
- budget and KPIs (overall responsibility and people management).
Our requirements
- Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering (or comparable),
- 10+ years of experience in senior roles in plant management,
- strong experience in Manufacturing,
- additional experience in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain or Quality will be an advantage,
- excellent communication and organization skills (hands-on attitude),
- financial experience and budgetary responsibilities (proven record),
- excellent leadership skills combined with an entrepreneurial approach,
- proficient level of English.
