Key Accountabilities

Provide leadership, planning, management and development of all resources for the Goleniów Factory Operations, including strategy development & execution ensuring that Company goals are met. Plan, guide and control the Operations. Ensure safe working environment, talent pool and to achieve targeted Production volumes. Deliver operational excellence that supports Company and Corporate objectives. Lead  the team to ensure excellent customer service with a focus on continuous improvement and cost effectiveness with superior quality.
  • Sets the overall direction of operations and resource management to establish and achieve the goals & objectives of the production plant 
  • Develops short-term & long-range strategies and policies aligned with organizational goals
  • Implements cost and quality improvement initiatives by using lean manufacturing in waste, labor, utilization, inventory control
  • Develop a safety focused work environment by promoting safety training, adhering to safety regulations with a goal of zero accidents per year. Maintain proper storage of all chemicals used in the plant
  • Establish communications with plant Management, operations personnel and all related  functions
  • Ensures manufacturing processes produce high quality products 
  • Implement financial objectives to maintain production costs
  • Interface with local government & maintain compliance with local laws

Responsibility


Assume overall responsibility for running the focus plant with particular focus on: People, EHS, Quality, Productivity, Delivery, and Cost performance targets. Communicate performance targets and GE REN–LM Wind Power requirements and fully support LMPS and lean activities. Run the plant in line with company strategy.

Requirements

  • University degree in B.A. or equivalent
  • Major experience in Operations or Management in a multicultural environment
  • Relevant Supply Chain Management experience
  • Strong leadership capabilities and experience
  • Excellent command of English (written and oral)
  • Personality – accurate, proactive team-player, accountable, focused, self-motivated, optimistic, self-confidence, customer focused, high say-to ratio, driving change, achieving results and standards setter. Good planning and organizing skills, project leadership.
  • Fundamental understanding of law (civil and labor)
  • Good communication and influencing skills - verbal, written and formal presentations
  • People skills - good team player with excellent communication, interpersonal
  • Knowledge of cost drivers – Understanding of market conditions; Understands technical specifications, product performance requirements, logistics processes, and end user expectations.
  • Managerial courage and willingness to challenge the ‘status quo’ as appropriate.
  • Provides timely, complete and actionable feedback, whether positive or corrective – holding self and others accountable.
