Your responsibilities
Keeper of the metrics: implementation and ongoing assurance of corporate controlling and accounting standards and processes
Creator of transparency: creation of transparency on plant performance along the supply chain
Analyst of the monthly results: review, challenge, explanation and reporting of monthly production cost and cost variances
Facilitator of optimization measures: support of local operations management to achieve operational excellence by developing, assessing and implementing business optimization measures
Local interface: local counterpart for corporate operations, controlling and business divisions
Implementation and execution of the monthly, forecasting and planning cycles at BCP respecting HARTMANN standards
Detailed review, analysis and reporting of the plant performance, plant cost and variances
Reporting of plant’s financial results to local plant management, corporate operations management (WM-OMP) and corporate controlling functions
Execution of the annual planning (investment, budgets, cost projects, etc.), the quarterly forecasting and ad-hoc predictions
Provide assistance on strategic projects as required
Our requirements
Degree in business administration / industrial engineering with focus on controlling
Minimum 3 years of controlling experience regarding production controlling
Very good SAP, SAP/BW and MS Office skills
Fluent in business English (spoken and written) and local language
Excellent communication and influencing skills and teamwork affinity
Strong leadership ability, marked assertiveness and result orientation

The Plant Finance Controller provides the Plant Management BCP with a review and analysis on plant performance, production cost and cost variances along the supply chain, ensuring compliance of the daily business with corporate controlling and accounting standards and processes. He/she challenges the KPI owners (e.g. production managers) to understand the as-is situation and to develop countermeasures together with them. Therewith the Plant Finance Controller acts as local counterpart for corporate operations management and controlling. In addition to that the Plant Finance Controller is strongly involved in the standard processes, i.e. planning, forecasting and reporting, and supports the business optimization measures via assessing strategic projects as required.
