For our Client, global providers of subframes for automotive industry, we are looking for seasoned Candidate to take the position of:
Plant Manager
Location: Poznań
Scope of responsibilities:
- Facilitating the process for the new to build site with experience and local and/or regional contacts
- Cooperating with the project management team regarding milestones and deadlines
- Hiring new employees and making arrangements with suppliers
- Acting as an important liaison between the Polish government, local organizations, employees and the Headquarters in China
- After go live of the production facility, managing cross-functional team and P&L of the facility in Poznań
- Leading plant teams in achieving production schedule, product quality, product cost and employee safety goals - - Providing leadership to all functional and operational groups to meet customer requirements
- Driving performance to achieve or exceed financial plans and strategic goals
Requirements:
- Degree preferably in Mechanical or Business Engineering
- Min. 5 years of experience and a strong and proven track record in production and operations management in the international automotive industry
- Preferably experience in first tier supplier of the OEM sector or metal parts manufacturers
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and a thorough understanding of manufacturing technologies and processes
- Strong communication skills, written and spoken both in Polish and English
- Excellent change management skills, business knowledge and organizational awareness
- Demonstrated ability to create and lead teams and drive change process
