To contribute to Hitachi ABB Power Grids becoming a successful standalone business ready for growth, we have initiated a global Sakura Program to enable HR transformation through digital capabilities and to implement global processes and HRIT architecture, supported by scalable state-of the-art solutions. We are now looking for an independent Manager to lead the PMO delivery planning, reporting, controlling and quality assurance.

Your responsibilities

  • Define, maintain and promote program management method(s), standards, processes and tools to be followed across the overall Sakura Program
  • Manage the schedule and budget incl. interdependencies at the program level and provide guidance, process and tool for the workstream projects
  • Define and execute project quality procedures and measures as per HAPG standards (i.e. Gate Model)
  • Provide support for managing changes and tracking risks and issues by proving processes, tools and oversight
  • Support the effective resource management across the program by providing method, process and tool, and manage contracting of vendors and professional service providers
  • Provide knowledge and document management infrastructure and deliver project onboarding and off-boarding
  • Define and provide Communication, Change Management and Training to the whole Sakura Program
  • Maintain the Sakura Program Business Case
  • Member of the Sakura Program Leadership Team

Your background

  • Program delivery leadership
  • Demonstrated ability to enable the Project Management Office and project managers to contribute toward effectiveness and success of the sponsoring organization
  • Strong ability to seamlessly connect and build effective working relationships with organizational leadership, stakeholders and suppliers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to influence and coordinate with team members and senior management
  • Experience in conducting program delivery and quality assurance reviews
  • Excellent planning /scheduling, resource planning and tracking & reporting skills, incl. project management tools e.g. MS project
  • Excellent experience in financial management and controlling for the projects and overall program
  • Ability to lead and work with virtual teams in international environment
  • Fluent in English (oral and written)
