Your responsibilities

  • Gathering and reconciliation of project and product data to produce required data format

  • Analysing project and product interdependencies and making recommendations to be presented in the output report

  • Fill the monthly BSPLT update process with required input data

  • Tracking project and product input data to maintain portfolio registers

  • Shadowing financial data reporting process

  • Business analysis of project and product processes and mapping it into requirements for the Portfolio Management Tool

  • Monitor of tool development (building new features) according to requirements defined

  • Testing and tuning IT tool solution to ensure that quality and consistent data are produced

  • Preparing tool training materials and delivering tool training if required

  • Shadowing IT tool business administration

  • Manage the repository, retention and distribution of department standards and artefacts Provide support activities for project, product and portfolio managers to enable them to focus on project delivery

  • Acting as a single point of contact for project, product and portfolio information together with other PMO members

  • Provide input to continual improvement of the departments working practices and cohesion activities

  • Provide general administration support to management when required

  • Provide execution and delivery support to projects when required

  • Provide support for 3rd party management processes

Our requirements

  • MSc or equivalent degree

  • Project management qualification

  • PMO qualification (Preferred)

  • >2 years’ experience working in PMO- project/ portfolio reporting area and project support

  • > 1 year Experience with PPM tools- mapping business requirements and testing

  • High analytical and numeric skills

  • Excellent Excel skills

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Strong communication and information presentation skills

  • Good organizational & time management skills

  • Proactive and ‘can-do’ approach

  • Experience at working independently and in a team-orientated, collaborative environment

  • Experience of working and adhering to deadlines

  • Excellent standard of written and spoken English

  • Ability to problem solve

  • Desire to work in a busy and growing business

Department Overview

Bain's Next-Generation Software Solutions (NGSS) team’s mission is to develop and support digital products for Bain consultants and clients, to allow them to get to better, faster insights and results.

Position Summary

Bain is seeking an analyst to join the newly created PMO team to support its general operations and project management activity.

Successful candidate should demonstrate initiative, proactive approach, high analytical and organizational skills. Excellent attention to detail, good numeric skills and Excel skills are required. The candidate should demonstrate an ability to reconcile information from various sources, compare and contrast it in order to produce consistent data. Good communication skills and ability to build rapport with internal clients are needed to build effective ways to gather required data from various teams and manage it. Successful candidates should also have experience in PMO reporting processes.

The role is based in Warsaw; local candidates or those willing to relocate can apply.
