PMO/ Transition Specialist
Workplace: Warszawa
City Center (Skylight building next to Złote Tarasy)
This is an in-house position in the newly opened Finance Shared Services Center (FSSC) of OC Oerlikon, a Swiss multinational company. The holder of this position will lead different projects within finance area with special focus on migration of accounting processes to SSC.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure efficient and standardized integration/migration of processes from newly rolled-in legal entities
  • Lead different initiatives and projects related to processes and operations, including automation and standardization, tools and systems implementation
  • Coordinate and supervise project execution within project team members
  • Thorough and proactive project tracking – risk, issue, escalation and milestone management
  • Ensure logic and frequency of documentation of processes
  • Ensure training and correct application of process, automation and digitalization regulations and standards within SSC, Local Finance and Group
  • Collaborate with Project Team and SSC Team throughout the transition lifecycle from initiation to steady state operations
  • Facilitate daily/weekly/monthly meetings with all stakeholders to collect status and discuss project issues
  • Create management reports and presentations to keep senior leadership up to date on schedule and deliverable status
  • Run lessons learnt analysis, improve methodology and share the success stories
  • Develop and manage excellent relationship with partners, customers and key internal / external stakeholders as well as colleagues to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of all initiatives
  • Take over leadership within job scope and manage supporting team

We expect

  • Experience in coordinating migration processes/ business transformation - at least one year
  • Experience in project management role – at least one year
  • Experience in working in SSC/BPO environment – at least 5 years
  • University degree in Finance and Accounting (preferable)
  • Working knowledge of Finance & Accounting processes, controls, procedures and standardization / automation initiatives
  • Experience of working with- and knowledge around different ERP systems (key focus on SAP, Navision)
  • Good organizational skills, very hands-on, well developed execution skills and change management and problem solving oriented, ability to work under time pressure,
  • Strong in relationship management and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate across organization and stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluent spoken and written in English, any additional languages are appreciated
