Impel Safety Sp. z. o. o. , one of IMPEL Group company, is currently looking for:

Poland Compliance & Risk Security Expert

MAIN PURPOSE:

A safe work environment can not be provided unless that environment is secure.

As such the Compliance & Risk Security Expert is required to:

  • Liaise with the Regional Head of Safety and Security to implement security measures appropriately;
  • Implement and manage Group Security and local authority protocols accordingly;
  • Develop and maintain a Security Laws and Obligations Register and ensure that the Client meets and evidences compliance with all local regulatory requirements;
  • Maintain a Property Function-Dispensation/Exemption Management Register in the event that Security arrangements do not meet the requirements of the Clients standards n.b. dispensation cannot be granted from compliance with any National Legislation or Regulations;
  • Manage the Security function and facilitate the retrieval of ACS and CCTV data that supports reports and investigations in accordance with the relevant procedures;
  • Coordinate the commission and acceptance of ACS, CCTV and Alarms systems;
  • Develop a LCR schedule for all locations and establish budgets to financially enable;
  • Manage budget efficiently and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget to agreed standards;
  • Actively identify opportunities for cost savings through simplification or cross party collaboration;
  • Direct the incident investigations, ensuring any corrective action required and associated paperwork is completed within an appropriate timeframe;
  • Provide Contingency Planning / Business Continuity. Participate in Regional Crisis Management Teams, and assist with the testing of Country and Regional level contingency and crisis management plans to ensure timely and effective response in an emergency or crisis;
  • Conduct, review and approve security investigations and corrective actions;
  • Ensure the provision of ongoing security training and development of stakeholders;
  • From a QA perspective, facilitate to collection of data  for CSTs and support Group Safety and Security, Group Property and  Group Internal Audit when required;
  • Production and distribution of employees’ ID cards;
  • Maintain a security presence at the site at all times in order to create a secure environment;
  • Primary point of contact for any out of hours emergencies where an immediate response and site attendance is required.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of security threats and risk assessment in a corporate environment;
  • A good working knowledge of the local laws as they apply to the use of security systems in the commercial environment;
  • A good knowledge of security systems including but not limited to Access Control (Lenel preferred), Alarms and Video Surveillance;
  • Understanding of Facilities Management;
  • Experience in auditing and advising on security arrangements across property estates, identifying necessary improvements, and assisting in the development of related security action plans;
  • Comply with Mace Macro Security Service Schedule and KPIs.

Experience & education:

  • Preferably at least 3 years’ working experience in a corporate environment in the related field is required including knowledge and experience of implementing security management system and carrying out activities as required;
  • Appropriately licensed as per local regulatory requirements;
  • Holds a related degree or other professional safety qualifications or certification.

Personal background & interpersonal skills:

Must:

  • Have strong interpersonal skills, resourceful, good leadership with ability to act independently and handle multiple tasks at the same time;
  • Be a proactive, self-starter, as well as a good team player, ideal;
  • Be native Polish and very good English (C1), in written and oral communication skills;

Desirable:

  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite;
  • Good organisation, prioritisation and planning skills;
  • Good record management skills;
  • Good presentation skills;
  • A willingness to learn, develop and grow within a rapidly growing global company;
  • Ability to work outside of normal daytime work hours if needed;
  • Be located in Warsaw or its surrounding suburbs, so in the event of an out of hours emergency Security Manager can attend the office site asap.
