Your responsibilities
The Supply Chain Director leads the transformation of the End-to-End supply chain function in the region (Poland & Baltics), designing the necessary processes and organisation, as well as developing people and training local supply chain teams in an inclusive manner. The position has a scope of control over a number of areas of the supply chain with the objective of developing and delivering objective supply chain performance in relation to a balanced scorecard.
Develops the service charter for the customer supply chain, with input from the Marketing and Commercial teams.
Lead the process in the region for the sales and operations planning cycle (S&OP) and interface with the commercial and manufacturing teams.
Lead the development and implementation of 4PL (4th Party Logistics Provider) in Iberia.
Responsible for volume forecasting
Establishes the appropriate inventory policy ensuring that the correct MRP parameters are set.
Responsible for finished goods inventory and sales procurement, including setting and reviewing inventory targets and MRP parameters.
Responsible for maintaining inventory balance, supply chain costs and service levels in accordance with divisional and business unit policies and strategy.
Leads and manages the Order Fulfilment teams from Customer Service to Warehouse and Transportation operations, with the aim of improving the level of service to customers (OTIF) through leading the S&OE daily and weekly routines.
Leads the supply chain organisation, focusing on developing diverse team talent and acting as a role model for company's values and behaviours.
In conjunction with Manufacturing and Procurement, leads supply chain projects that drive customer service improvements and/or inventory reduction.
The role supports the organic sales growth and sales profitability targets of company business.
Demand planning with commercial inputs and production input.
Execution of End-to-End supply chain operational activities driven by the following performance metrics, KPIs:
Safety
Customer Delivery Service (OTIF)
NCWC Optimised (Inventory Tunnel, Days of Sales, Availability)
Supplier Delivery Performance
Inventory turns improvement (Days of Sales, Availability)
Warehouse & storage optimization
Distribution cost
Employer requirements
Minimum 5 years in a similar position in a multinational environment, experience in manufacturing plants.
Experience in managing teams of considerable size.
Education: Supply Chain Degree or equivalent.
Languages: Fluent in English (oral and written).
Work experience: proven track record in supply chain management and implementation, specifically in sales and operations planning (S&OP).
Must be a high-energy, action-oriented, intelligent person who enjoys working hard and taking on challenges; who possesses good judgement and does not allow emotions or prejudices to distract reasoning.
Passionate with a proven ability to motivate others and achieve results.
The ability to intuitively weigh and manage risk in decision making and is capable of making decisions that are detrimental to a few but helpful to many.
Must have a thorough understanding and broad experience with the full range of business functions and systems including forecasting, warehousing, manufacturing, planning, budgeting, business analysis, resource allocation, finance, human resources and sales.
Experience of delivering complex change programmes, including project and stakeholder management.
Other experiences : managing stakeholder relationships.
Willing to travel : travel within Poland between sites & countries.An experienced leader with a sense of urgency and the capacity to develop a diverse team and create successors.
The ability to influence and convince at various levels of the organisation.
The ability to manage and work in a complex multinational organisation and operate within a matrix structure.
The ability to identify and deliver change and manage stakeholders.
Expertise in the field of continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma etc).
Proven project management skills.
Strong communication skills both oral and written.
Deep experience of warehouse management systems.
Commercial acumen of how operating costs impact the P&L and Balance Sheet.
ERP (SAP, IBP, AnaPLan or related Enterprise solutions).
