About the project

As a Portfolio Project Expert, you will be responsible for initiatives arising from Global Procurement Services (GPS) but also wider Procurement. The main areas of your work will be related to processes, data gathering and analysis, and generating insights for GPS.

You will help us review reporting processes, as well as design new reports. Working with our data, creating information to help us to monitor our performance and to be base for future strategy decision is important.

You should be able to identify opportunities for enhancement in operational processes, share your ideas and ensure right execution.

It is important that person on this position has strong communication skills as will operate with senior stakeholders.

On this position you will lead small projects or support large projects/programmes. You will prepare documents and support the development of campaigns for those projects used in internal communications.

Your responsibilities

  • Establish and/or prepare Management and Operational reports to help in monitoring the function through gathering, analysing and summarizing data and information
  • Provide ad hock support to the departments by gathering, visualising and analysing data based on arising needs
  • Ensure proper documentation and regular management of sources, reports and processes function is owner of.
  • Ensure right planning and delivery of priorities, projects and activities, by GPS function to support AZ, Procurement and GPS strategy
  • Drive consistency and continuous improvement of processes by incorporating internal & external best practice
  • Provide support to the Team in planning, organizing meetings, managing, monitoring, and communicating through the appropriate channel’s major projects from concepts through implementation and may also manage own smaller projects
  • Create and maintain of small tools as well as automate of tasks to eliminate waste in time within processes we control.

Our requirements

  • Able to translate unstructured business problems into a data design and solution
  • Experience in creation of presentation, dashboards & one pagers.
  • Knowledge of BI class software, best if PowerBi
  • Data modelling, ETL& Data Warehouse hands on experience
  • M365 knowledge, including SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps
  • At least basic experience with software development process
  • At least basic knowledge of VBA coding
  • Be proactive and able to conduct work with minimal supervision
  • Well-developed organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent English communication skills to manage stakeholders’ high level in the organisation with Global teams

  • Understating Lean and Agile methodologies
  • Experience of managing small projects
  • MSSQL knowledge
  • Expertise in the application of analytical problem-solving methodology
  • Experience of working in a global organisation with complex/geographical context
  • Has general cultural awareness
  • Has at least general knowledge about procurement activities
  • Right-first-time approach to own deliverables (quality and consistency)
