    Portfolio Services Manager
    (Global transformation)

    Global Transformation Portfolio managers plan, mobilise and drive portfolios of medium to high complexity and scale keeping them aligned with agreed annual operating plan (AOP). They are typically responsible for support in Portfolio targets proactively balancing scope, schedule, budget, risks, outcomes and benefits. 

    We provide Portfolio Service management support for particular business and functions. Types of portfolios and their scope vary from regulatory change implementation, business change and transaction. 

    Key Accountabilities:

    • Putting into action HSBC Project Management framework and other Global Transformation frameworks within the Portfolio.
    • Close cooperation with Portfolio Managers, Programme Managers, Senior Project Managers e to ensure alignment of their project with the wider change portfolio and the Group Strategy, Values and Behaviors,
    • Promoting and taking accountability for portfolio quality,
    • Identifying and sharing the resource requirements of the portfolio,
    • Planning and optimising the plan effectively to maximise benefits and minimise risk,
    • Proactively monitoring portfolio execution to effectively identify risks/issues/dependencies as they arise throughout the yearly lifecycle,
    • Collaborates and builds positive stakeholder and business partner relationships.

    Requirements:

    • More than 3 years professional experience working on complex project/programmes/portfolios with multiple stakeholders in different countries,
    • Banking industry knowledge,
    • Self-driven and proactive,
    • Fluent English, ability to speak other European languages is an advantage,
    • Excellent decision making and problem solving ability,
    • Able to achieve excellence under time and stress pressure,
    • Fluent in financial and budget management,
    • Experienced in project tracking, reporting and governance,
    • Excellent computer literacy, especially in MS Office and Project Management tools,
    • Proven portfolio/project management qualification (MoP, PMP, MSP) is an advantage.
