Post-Merger Integration & Change Management Lead, (Warsaw)

For our client, the international company that is active in M&A processes (digital companies acquisition), we are looking for candidate for position:

Post-Merger Integration & Change Management Lead, (Warsaw)

In close partnership with local and HQ experts, you provide valuable insights, experience and strong project management skills related to post-merger integration.


Key responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the successful implementation of post-merger integration plan and further change management actions
  • Function as project management officer for all operational integration aspects
  • Assess operating models and define rules for cooperation
  • Implement new and sustainable organizational processes
  • Contribute knowledge on go-to-market strategies and product portfolio management to shape the new combined entities
  • Understand local way-of-working challenges and motivate towards win-win outcomes
  • Create (financial) analyses to understand the synergy potential and drive realization
  • Define and support the change management process for successful integration
  • Establish PMI tracking system to monitor integration success and regularly report to CEO and C-level executives
  • Lead and implement change initiatives related to business processes and technologies.
  • Develop project strategies and plans, including stakeholder assessment, communications, leadership alignment, organization transition, change readiness, capability transfer, and end-user training.
  • Facilitate change management activities with cross-functional team members and stakeholders to understand and ensure adoption of the Enterprise Business Transformation.
  • Contact person to the local (Polish) and HQ (Germany) team with regards to all aspects of the post-merger integration

The successful candidate

The successful candidate should hold a relevant degree and with a proven track record in project management and Post-Merger Integration. With experience in up-scaling teams and a great attitude in changing mindsets and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.

  • Experience in post-merger integration and transformation projects (preferably in Poland)
  • Distinctive expertise and interest in project management, planning and coordination
  • Knowledge of digital operating models and digital organizations
  • Background in digital commerce is an advantage
  • International mind-set and experience within a multicultural work environment; team player; hands-on mentality and can-do attitude; excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership experience is an advantage
  • Polish native speaker, fluent in English
