About the project
The Power BI Report Developer within the Business Unit “Global IT Land & Digital Solutions” is responsible for the development of automated tests for our global application portfolio.
Specifically, Power BI Report developer will be responsible for working with the business system analysts to analyze requirements and then working with the internal team to ensure effective data solutions are being built and deployed.
This position will work closely with business and technology leaders to understand the enterprise objectives and build our capabilities in BI, Reporting & Analytical applications to support main stakeholders in the department.
Your responsibilities
- Develop, publish, schedule interactive Power BI reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
- Utilize Power BI as the catalyst for analytics and the understanding of trends
- Participate in business analysis activities to gather required reporting and dashboard requirement.
- Assist business users on functional and data requirements to enhance data models
- Able to diagnose report issues and performance tune reports and dashboards.
- Design, implement, and support a platform providing ad-hoc access to large datasets
- Contribute to the development of reporting standards including user interface design, information architecture, naming conventions, labeling, etc.
- Design, develop and implement the report delivery mechanisms, including but not limited to, O365 Integration (SharePoint, Teams, etc.), Mobile, PDF tools/integration, etc.
- Ability to deliver data and reporting in various capacities including project level work efforts, day to day operational reporting and ad hoc requests from management/leadership.
- Develop necessary and agreed upon documentation and artifacts to support the reporting platform in an operational state.
Our requirements
- 2-4 years in developing Power BI reports, dashboards, KPIs, and scorecards.
- 2-4 years development experience in Data Analytic technologies such as: Microsoft – Power BI or Tableau
- Experience in requirement analysis, design and prototyping
- Strong organizational skills required
- Team oriented with an ability to also work independently, with minimal guidance
- Strong attention to detail
