Your responsibilities

  • develop a dedicated strategy for the Czech market and identify locally and internationally relevant PR topics and content for press

  • develop a seasonal marketing communication plan in direct collaboration with the Head of PR CEE, including: strategy, goals, budget and tactics

  • leverage existing media relationships and cultivate a strong network with media

  • secure high-level placements in top tier print, online, TV, podcasts and social media in the Czech Republic

  • identify and amplify the unique storytelling opportunities and develop innovative ideas for Westwing to maximize buzz, media coverage and build a love brand via feature stories, interviews, broadcast segments, and product placement, through print, digital and broadcast media

  • develop innovative ideas and a creative PR strategy to promote Westwing

  • plan, organize and execute creative and innovative PR events and press trips

  • monitor, analyse and communicate PR results on a weekly and quarterly basis

  • maintain a keen understanding of industry trends affecting clients and make appropriate recommendations regarding communication strategy surrounding them

Our requirements

  • 2 years in-house/agency work experience in PR (in particular Interior, Fashion, Beauty, Jewelry) or relevant work experience in a creative and dynamic environment, with focus on Lifestyle PR, Media or brand marketing

  • a strong network in the local and international media landscape as well as lifestyle and design industry

  • strong networking and interpersonal skills, strong stakeholder management skills

  • a creative thinking, problem-solving mind-set, hands-on attitude

  • experience in designing and developing strategic PR strategies including measuring and reporting

  • ability to work with sensitive issues and work under pressure

  • knowledge of Social Media and emerging channels

  • excellent oral, written, and presentation skills

  • business acumen and knowledge
