For our international client, from the manufacturing industry, a leader in its industry, we are currently looking for candidates for the position:
Essential role in ensuring that offers are priced to value.
Manage, lead and develop the team of direct reports (organize team’s work, review team performance, develop and promote talent)
Support the development, coordination, and execution of the company’s pricing strategy per account, exceed satisfaction levels, reduce pricing lead time to customers and improve margins.
Participate in defining European commercial strategy per account (in cooperation with Global Account Directors and European Sales Director);
Price / cost calculation for new products / specification changes;
Price benchmarking and developing proposals for price alignment;
Assessment of price competitiveness vs next best alternative;
Development of commercial offers for new customers/markets;
Pricing implementation and governance to ensure a fast decision making proces;
Develop and own pricing / costing systems and tools;
Gradually increase automatization and simplification of costing / pricing tools and of simulation models;
Support for commercial activities, tender process, RFQs lead by the Account Teams.
Participate in negotiation / price discussions with customer procurement as required.
Support customers and Account Teams in exploring cost optimization opportunities;
Process sales administration in line with contractual agreements and in close liaison with other departments;
Measure performance results in terms of business revenue.
Contribute to Strategic Plan preparation.
Completed University Degree;
2 years of experience in a similar position;
Knowledge of English - B2+/C1/C2;
Very good knowledge of Office package (Excel, PowerPoint) and business IT systems;
Ability to run complex commercial analysis;
Strong negotiation skills;
Ability and experience to work with and manage people, along with leadership skills;
Ability to organize team’s work, setting priorities, and handling multiple simultaneous requests;
Pricing experience is strongly;
Strategic Thinking and Business Acumen;
Experience in successfully improving margins through pricing initiatives
Ability to carry out complex tasks with many concrete and abstract variables in high pressured, fast-paced environment
High level of initiative, curiosity and potential to go beyond the described role as the team responsibilities evolve
Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures
Excellent Communication Skills.
