Your responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of multiple profitability optimization projects and deploy strategic pricing capabilities for the various business groups aligned with their strategies, market dynamics and needs.
  • Regularly gather and consolidate data from multiple CPE functions (i.e. Sales, Procurement, BOSC, FP&A, etc) and capture/incorporate priority factors (e.g. customer segmentation/sub-segmentation, willingness to pay, competitive landscape and dynamics, market supply and demand, internal profitability) to set price targets.
  • Define roadmaps and execute initiatives by leading new approaches for large deal negotiations.
  • Develop execution strategies for the deployment of pricing as an end to end process from strategic considerations to actual price setting techniques, governance and supporting technology.
  • Review business need assessments with regard to data and technological requirements and make realistic return on investment recommendations.
  • Monitor trends and pricing developments and trends and ensure new thought leadership and new capabilities are introduced across business groups.
  • Evaluate hypotheses for profit improvement opportunities, validate with data and facts and execute the strategy for deployment projects to capitalize on the opportunities.
  • Lead the execution of different pricing strategies and improve sustainable profitability in collaboration with various internal functions, including commercial, product line, sales, marketing and finance.
  • Develop plans and deliver results in a fast-changing business or regulatory environment, while leading and developing a team of experienced professionals and supervisors, coaching and making decisions related to talent management hiring, performance and disciplinary actions. You will also collaborate with managers and supervisors in your organization to ensure staff selections align with current and future needs.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in a Business, Finance, Economics or Agriculture or equivalent experience.
  • Analytical proficiency to derive insights from large and complex sets of business data. Quantitative ability to direct and interpret detailed analysis; Excel, Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, overall strong analytic skills.
  • Meaningful experience in Strategic Pricing and related experience with customer-backed value, ingredient markets and pricing strategy.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key business leaders and be a key thought leader.
  • Financial knowledge for profit and loss, margin and price decision making. Utilizes comprehensive knowledge of strategic pricing and commercial best pricing practices to optimize value across business.
  • Minimum of six years of related work experience ideally within pricing, marketing, merchandising, sales, and/or finance.
  • Advanced level of speaking and writing in English.

  • Willingness to travel and flexibility as domestic travel will be required.

Job Purpose and Impact

The Pricing Manager is part of Konspol Leadership team and will lead the development and execution of strategic pricing processes to support the continuous development of strategic pricing people, process and technology capabilities across businesses. In this role, you will lead the execution of profitability optimization projects across business groups and provide leadership for the continuous optimization of critical pricing capabilities such as value based pricing, customer, consumer and retail pricing, large deal pricing and negotiations and pricing science, analytics and technology. As Pricing Manager you will work closely with Commercial Leaders, Sales, Marketing, Trading, Supply Chain, Procurement, R&D and Finance to develop & implement pricing strategies with the objective to increase profitability and margin for new and current business.

We are offering permanent role. You provide work for our representative of Cargill Protein Europe meat factory Konspol Holding with regular visits to our facilities. Hybrid working can be discussed.
