Your responsibilities

  • Line management of a team of Pricing Specialists

  • Manage teams spread across several locations across EMEA

  • Accountable for managing and completing all EMEA Wholesale & Indirect channel quotation requests

  • Recruitment, training and onboarding of new team members

  • Be a point of contact and liaise with internal stakeholders and clients on quotation escalations as required

  • Act as a point of escalation to resolve issues and proactively monitor risks to prevent these developing into issues

  • Provide monthly reporting and metrics on the output and performance of the team

  • Implement strategic initiatives for CX and process improvements meeting with key stakeholders regularly to review feedback on the teams work

  • Drive Process improvement, LEAN and Automation activities in order to remove waste and add value to the teams processes with a specific focus on speed and quality of quotations

Our requirements

  • We are looking for an experienced team leader with a track record of successfully leading client facing commercial and operational teams. Including the ability to engage with stakeholders at different levels both internally and externally.

  • The manager is responsible for leading the day to day management of the teams, as well as leading key CX and process improvement initiatives across the EMEA Wholesale & Indirect channel pricing function.

  • We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, customer and results focused and can innovate while balancing this with a structured and methodical approach through strong governance and reporting and a firm grasp on KPI performance.

  • The Pricing Team Leader - EMEA will need to install customer first approach to all team members to ensure we delight our customers with our activities and is accountable for building a high-performance team; hiring and retaining talent, setting goals, delegating work, holding direct reports accountable whilst developing and empowering their team to make decisions and act.

  • They must be able to manage in complex environments, partner closely with internal functions as well as externally by demonstrating credibility at all levels.

  • Minimum Requirements

  • Experienced and qualified in the application of Process improvement, LEAN and Automation activities

  • Proven track record of behavioural and cultural leadership to help drive business change

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities required.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

  • Business acumen and professionalism required.

  • Process improvement experience required.

  • Language skills; English

The Role

The principal objective of the role is to lead, mentor and coach a dedicated Pricing Team within the EMEA Wholesale & Indirect channel to support high quality and fast turnaround of customer quotations.

Reporting directly into the role are a team of Pricing Specialists located in various locations across Europe (Poznan and UK)

This role and all roles reporting to it are critical to the success of Lumen and our Customers “Buy” experience, therefore the role holder must be customer focused, independently motivated and take full ownership of results, with the ability to operate in a challenging environment with competing priorities.

The Pricing Team is an integral part of the organization, delivering operational excellence in support of the EMEA Wholesale & Indirect channel sales teams. Through the role, and in coordination with the Sales team, the Pricing Team is responsible for completing multiple operational activities, ensuring these are completed in a consistent manner, communicating with multiple stakeholders internally and externally. The Pricing Team also contribute to driving the continual improvement of commercial and operational efficiency within the overall organization, which is likely to include identifying, recommending and implementing productivity improvement opportunities.
