Pricing Specialist

Your responsibilities

• Provide ongoing support for any spare parts process ordering by research and benchmark business market to set the right level of price for unidentified or rare spare parts or materials

• Creating and improving the usage of various pricing tools, i.e. parts categorization split, transactional level of sales, sales funnel, discount guidelines and pricing margins setup

• Optimize pricing policy and baselines for company pricing strategy by regular update of database and design, implement and conduct regular pricing policy controls

• Obtain and maintain essential deep knowledge about business market with the key participants

• Conduct regular research of markets to update existing database of price lists and availability of the market

• Support in margin control by effective management of pricing policy controls

• Performing continuous analysis to support business decisions

• Identifying opportunities to improve existing pricing and margin models and supports the development team in building new ones

• Using statistical models to push relevant pricing strategies and drive sales/margin gains

• Execute regular business reporting

• Other ad-hoc management requests

Position Summary

Pricing Specialists position is a position in the new Tornos Product Management Department (PM) in the business unit Service (BU-S) in Tornos, Kąty Wrocławskie, Poland.

The Pricing Specialist works in the Pricing Team in Poland, Kąty Wrocłąwskie which is part of the Product Management Department (PM) located in Switzerland.

In this role it is needed to have a thorough understanding of pricing / sales related analysis, market research and business processes. It is essential to have strong analytical skills, the Excel and/ or Power BI literacy, the ability to see marketing patterns and trends are also necessary for this position.

Tornos Product Management Department (PM) is the new department which is one of results of deep transformation of Tornos Group. PM is under the process of further setup and growth which opens much of opportunities for any joiners.
