Your responsibilities

An outstanding opportunity to join us in this role where you will be responsible for management and oversight of unallocated trades and resolution of errors and exceptions: price breaks, late trades, cash differences. You will be involved in coordination of the operational response to Settlements, Trade Management, Trade Collection, Desk and have a chance to build and maintain excellent relationships with internal clients (Global Equity Middle Office, Clearing & Settlement, Regional Offices, Client Relationship Management, Front Office (Salespeople/Traders/COO) and external clients (Global institutional clients, vendors). Additional tasks will involve new fund/sub account opening of existing clients, as part of the trade allocation and confirmation process, evidence of process improvements through root cause analysis to achieve higher straight through processing rates. You will be responsible for effective risk management with regards to high value trades. You will have also opportunity to improve the service level offering to the Client by exceeding expectations through a combination of operational support, an enthusiastic approach to change and client service, effective risk management with regards to high value trades.

Your future colleagues

The role is within the Group Operation. The team is the first point of contact for external clients and is responsible for managing the operational / post execution support around the trade allocation, confirmation and affirmation process in European markets open hours (10-18). It is a high volume, fast paced, demanding processing environment where strong prioritization and decision making skills are a must. Dealing with varying levels of corporate titles both internally and externally is essential and therefore requires both outstanding written and verbal communication skills.   • Proven experience in evaluating risk likelihood and impact; taking into account all risk factors to balance risk, service and cost when communicating risk implications and contingency.

  • Demonstrate a proven track record of delivering change and operational improvement.

  • Previous experience in a client facing role is desirable, an in-depth understanding of equity, fixed income settlements and Prime Brokerage business would be an asset.
