Your responsibilities

  • Performs requirements documentation (PDD) activity within Pods working with the process SME, in accordance with methodologies and standards as set by the COE

  • Working within project planning constraints, communicating or escalating any identified project risks and issues to the Senior Developer / Solution Architect

  • Seeks guidance from the Solution Architects and Mentors. Escalates complex requirements for consideration of potential solutions and designs where necessary

  • Ensures COE methodologies are consistently applied, in line with global standards

  • Works with Process SME to create test plan and scenarios

  • Is involved in the SIT and UAT testing with Process SME and Configurator

  • Records outcome of testing and works with Configurator to resolve defects identified during testing

  • Conducts testing in accordance with Global test strategy set out by RPA COE (Test Manager)

  • The individual will need to be able to multi-task and set their own priorities

  • They must be aware of deadlines and ensure timely delivery at all times

  • Ability to drive change in HSBC

  • Maintain an understanding of business processes

Our requirements

  • Understanding of RPA technologies, the operational processes and when RPA should be used (desirable)

  • Knowledge of the enterprise’s business operations

  • Previous experience within RPA from a non-technical perspective (+6 months) (desirable)

  • Proven track record in a similar role would be advantageous

  • Good understanding of business processes (advantageous)

  • The role requires an articulate individual; comfortable dealing with management

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required

  • Excellent interpersonal skills required

  • Must be well organised and able to multi-task effectively and efficiently

  • Experience in negotiation and conflict management

  • Ability to problem solve, clearly articulate requirements, and implement and drive change

  • Energy, enthusiasm, and drive

Job Description

The Process Analyst provides support to the Project Manager/Scrum master, Automation Service Lead and Senior Configurator (POD Lead) in the end-to-end process of automation from Process definition document creation through to go live, and supporting in the creation of all key documentation.
