As part of Reconciliation and Adjustment garage within F&BM Transformation, your primary role will be to drive efficiency in the execution of reconciliations and manual adjustments through automation and optimization.

The Financial Analysis and Controllers groups within the Office of the CFO provide financial & business information and insights across a range of key deliverables inclusive of monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc financial reporting, budgeting & forecasting and capital stress testing, macroeconomic scenario design and execution, and the business development of our financial infrastructure. Further, the Financial Analysis and Controllers groups represent the Firmwide view and also each of the 5 lines of business within the company including Consumer & Community Banking, Corporate & Investment Banking, Commercial Banking, Asset & Wealth Management, and Corporate.

The Finance & Business Management (F&BM) Transformation group partners with Financial Analysis and Controllers to build scalable, end-to-end process solutions that optimize the use of financial data assets, drive improvement in human capital productivity, advance platform capabilities & efficiency, maximize user self-service options, and exhibit robust controls while at the same time we develop and manage skills of the future development programs and actively engage colleagues across the F&BM organization to upskill as required to successfully evolve technical solutions over a long-term horizon.

Job Description:

As part of Reconciliation and Adjustment garage within F&BM Transformation, your primary role will be to drive efficiency in the execution of reconciliations and manual adjustments through automation and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be part of a development team that design end-to-end automation solutions that amplify analytics and reduce the time spent on process production activities;
  • Implement end-to-end automation solutions either thru self-service automation tools or by using more advanced techniques in collaboration with technology partners;
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure requirements are captured accurately and solutions are meeting client’s needs;
  • Communicate open items, issues and deadlines clearly and effectively to stakeholders and to Development Lead;
  • Work actively using JIRA to track progresses around project.

Qualifications:

  • Up to 3 years of experience in the field of technology, process improvement, project management or process automation
  • Knowledge of Alteryx Data Analytics or Xceptor or other process automation / data transformation tool is a must;
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and be an innovation driver;
  • Team player with ability to work and interact with global teams;
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, results driven environment;
  • Experience in partnering with business and technology to drive strategic projects;
  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Finance and/or Technology is a plus;
  • Experience in data visualization (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense) is a plus;
  • Knowledge or experience in agile software development and project management (JIRA, Confluence, Scrum) is a plus.
