Process Improvement Projects Lead
Location: Łódź
The Process Improvement Projects Lead will apply a structured and data-driven approach following Lean and Six Sigma concepts.  However, in order to be successful in this role, formal prior Six Sigma experience is not required as technical coaching and on-the-job training will be provided by an experienced project manager.  More important is the ability to work well with a variety of people, an analytical, focused and service-oriented mind-set and can-do attitude.  
 
Key Areas of Responsibility:
  • Manage assigned performance improvement projects using a Phase-Gate approach.Initiatives will focus on improving quality and increasing productivity by reducing wasted time, rework, etc. resulting in significant business improvement and (internal) customer satisfaction.Project teams typically include about five people.
  • Apply commonly used Six Sigma and Lean tools, such as creating process maps and data collection plans, performing data analysis, including descriptive statistics and root-cause analysis.
  • Build internal knowledge about Six Sigma & Lean methodology, provide internal training & support to FBS departments.
  • Ensure alignment with all project stakeholders, including internal customers outside of Łódź.
  • Negotiate agreement when multiple solutions for an issue have been identified.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or Industrial Engineering.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Finance or Operations.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Knowledge of SAP ERP system.
  • First experience with project management and/or Six Sigma/Lean concepts.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS Visio.
  • Strong interpersonal skills: Good listener, team player and capable of working with people from different professional backgrounds.
  • Organized with high attention to detail and the professional curiosity to get to the bottom of things.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities (business communication).
  • Effective self-management and ability to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Self-starter with positive attitude, enthusiasm, drive and energy.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills; ability to bring clarity and focus to complex issues.
  • This position does not require regular business travel. On rare occasions, overnight stays out of town may be necessary.
