Procure to Pay (P2P) Project Specialist

To strengthen our Procurement Department team, we are looking for a P2P Project Specialist. Seize this unique opportunity to take an active part in shaping our new GBS center and grow together with the rapidly developing organization. As a P2P Projects Specialist you will participate in an exciting journey of optimizing ABB costs and processes, by delivering high level services & improvements to our internal customers within Procurement area. To do so, You will closely collaborate with Procurement Managers, Procurement Team Members, internal stakeholders and other dedicated teams (e.g. technical, financial) within organization.

Your responsibilities:

  • Procurement and Accounts Payable integration project by supporting individual Project Streams in delivery of their milestones
  • Manage project stream reporting, time plan realization and coordinate task administration within project team
  • Facilitate project team meetings and status reviews with project team and Steco
  • Archive all actions and decisions of Project team
  • Create Working Instructions and SOPs for the team basing on the decision made during project delivery
  • Deployment of Lean Six Sigma tools to improve efficiency & effectiveness
  • Work closely with Operations team to identify process improvements including potential for automation
  • Demonstrate understanding of Lean Six Sigma tools and Quality Assurance
  • Ensure standardization and simplification of processes, roll out of GBS Lean, in line with guidelines set by Global GBS Common elements owner
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Create strong relationship with peers and leadership across service lines

Your background:

  • Bachelor's/Master degree in any stream with 2-4 years of experience in:
    • deploying Lean Six Sigma in a BPO/Shared Service environment or
    • Project Management or
    • direct SCM or AP operations, with proven track of improvements
  • Experience in Shared Services for a Global Company (e.g. SCM / AP) will be an added advantage
  • Structured, must be comfortable working with numbers, reviewing data and working with databases
  • Strong communication, analytical, presentation and change management skills
  • Advanced skillset in Microsoft office applications – specifically with Excel, Visio & PowerPoint Presentations
