    Procurement Indirect Senior Associate
    Location: Warsaw
    The person will be responsible for implementation and ongoing management of cost-effective purchasing projects for IT, HR or Professional Services categories for Poland in line with the time, quality standards and conditions agreed with stakeholders. 

    The role is part of building and consolidating Indirects Procurement team in Poland. 

    Procurement Indirect Senior Associate will interact & work with Category Managers and other Indirect Buyers across region to implement sourcing strategies from Europe level ensuring local alignment.

    Main accountabilities:
    • Identify key productivity projects/initiatives within managed categories, develop and align these with stakeholders and suppliers, and implement them to capture savings against stretched short term objectives through total cost of ownership approach;
    • Ensure effective supplier relationship management: set up preferred supplier rosters, monitor and track supplier performance, and have periodic supplier review meetings;
    • Support Indirect Procurement team to increase coverage in Poland, through driving credibility and trust with internal stakeholders, PepsiCo purchasing community and suppliers;
    • Build category expertise and market intelligence for categories of responsibility; Develop and share best practices via effective networking in CEGB and Europe;
    • Capture the value delivered from any procurement led or supported initiatives and ensure full alignment of productivity delivery with stakeholders and finance;
    • Transactional platform Super User knowledge: training and support of users;  

    Requirements/ qualifications:

    • University degree, PC literate, English- Advanced;
    • Previous purchasing experience preferably within FMCG environment (2 years+);
    • Results orientated – comfortable identifying, setting & delivering against stretch targets;
    • Negotiation and influencing skills;
    • Ability to interact with key stakeholders and build trust at all levels of the organization;
    • Communication and interpersonal skills, planning and organizing, accuracy and attention to details;
    • Ability to lead multiple, diverse tasks at the same time and manage ambiguity – working within a complex, fluid, organizational environment with limited data visibility and diverse processes;
