Your responsibilities

  • Leads team to execute towards high aspirations, driving the Procurement Operations team processes and capabilities towards best in class.

  • Builds talents through the management of the Procurement Operations team.

  • Provides daily work direction to the team.

  • Provides performance feedback and career counseling.

  • Mentors/coaches team members as needed, challenge their work and recommendations, pushing their thinking and guiding the team towards best practices.

  • Creates deliverable objectives to ensure SLAs/KPIs are met along with career development growth

  • Shapes and sustains an effective, motivated team that delivers desired results (KPIs, internal customer satisfaction) by providing direction, building trust, selecting, coaching and developing team members, leveraging individual abilities and ensuring best practices are utilized.

  • Ensures fit for purpose relevant training plan and related documentation for Procurement Operations team members.

Our requirements

  • At least 1,5 year experience in team leading or equal experience in similar activities. (i.e. project management, acting as TL, project/people coordinator).

  • At least 3 years’ experience in procurement processes (indirect categories procurement experience is a must).

  • Previous experience in a BPO/Shared Services environment preferred.

  • Excellent quantitative and data analysis skills.

  • Minimum of C1 level language proficiency in English;

  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills;

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills;

  • Change agent with ability to influence at all levels of the organization;

  • Experience utilizing Lean/Continuous Improvement tools and processes;

  • Experience utilizing Project Management tools and processes.

  • SAP knowledge is a must.

Process Ownership:

  • 1st level of escalation for internal customer issues; take necessary actions to get the issues resolved in a timely manner, keeping the internal customer updated of actions being taken;

  • 1st level of escalation to the EMEA Procurement Center of Excellence (CoE) team for clarification of standard transactional processes;

  • Ensure the team meets the agreed KPIs for in-scope processes;

  • Share and implement best practices within the Procurement Operations team for relevant processes;

  • Manage and present performance indicators in internal operational reviews, analyzing data & trends, implement continuous improvement based on Lean & Six Sigma methodologies;

  • Ensure fit for purpose suite of reports are created and maintained that good visibility of the health of the operation at all levels in scope (from overall EMEA to granular at plant level).

  • Ensure fit for purpose relevant Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) exist for all in-scope processes, coordinating the update process and validating the written procedures before sending to the EMEA Procurement CoE Lead for endorsement.

  • Acting as Procurement Operations SME in business discussions and project/improvement initiatives.

Business Partner Engagement:

Build and maintain a fluent relationship with key business partners (e.g. Marketing leaders, Procurement managers, Plant managers, Internal Controls), understanding their needs and working together to identify operating issues/non-efficiencies, implementing sustainable solutions and ensuring changes are timely documented in relevant SOPs.

Interact directly and regularly with the EMEA Procurement CoE Leader to share performance updates, key team updates, identified risks, issues or concerns, and helping drive best practices throughout the EMEA Organization;

Collaborate with the EMEA Procurement team and other relevant functions in the implementation of new relevant tools and revised procurement-transactional processes as required by the EMEA K-C technology and procurement strategic roadmaps;

Prepare and/or contribute to the preparation of key business partner materials and presentations to effectively communicate procurement transactional processes, related metric performance and identified opportunities and challenges.
