Your responsibilities

  • Proactively manage and monitor IT Purchasing Process globally across Vesuvius’ sites, including on-time approvals of purchase requests, purchase requisitions and invoices in due coordination with suppliers and stakeholders

  • Maintain due trackability and documentation of purchases according to Group policies

  • Closely collaborates with other functions in accordance with Group policies

  • Participates in the meetings with suppliers and internal stakeholders

  • Resolves issues related to IT Purchase Requests, IT Purchase Orders and Invoices in due coordination with Accounting and IT Team

  • Assists/contributes in/leads sourcing, RFx, negotiations, and contracting activities

  • Works closely with IT Team to evaluate needs based on requirements

  • Works with Finance, Accounting and the Legal departments to assure policies and requirements are met, including but not limited to agreements, licensing, software and IT equipment purchases

  • Ensures budget guidelines are followed and keeps track of all purchase requisitions

Our requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Finance, Accounting or equivalent combination of experience (ideally in IT) and/or education is required

  • 1-2 years of experience in corporate environment, SSC operational areas will be an asset

  • Knowledge of Procurement processes and functions

  • Very good English (B2/C1)

  • Demonstrated self-starter with proactive attitude and willingness to learn

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and collaboration skills

  • Good problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities

  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively and within agreed deadlines

  • Negotiation skills will be an asset

  • Contract management and vendor management experience will be an asset

  • Ability to build relationships with local and international stakeholders

  • Proficiency in MS Office
