Your responsibilities

  • transition of indirect purchasing processes from headquarter and plants to SSC;

  • managing the Procurement team in SSC of a globally leading German manufacturer of premium household appliances;

  • leading defined/migrated purchasing processes;

  • establishing and measuring operational KPI’s, defining targets and ensuring required countermeasures if needed;

  • covering Operational Purchasing activities (PR/PO’s) with the team and ensure on time ordering;

  • close & successful collaboration with Internal Business Partners of all concerned locations;

  • performing operative tasks and help managing the procurement operations;

  • managing the resources available to achieve the task assigned in time, accuracy, and within planned cost;

  • managing the team in order to process the procurement activities, supporting the business and achieving high performance and efficiency.

Our requirements

  • several years of experience in Procurement (preferably in a SSC and indirect purchasing);

  • Master / MBA (Business Administration or comparable study program) or equivalent / higher education;

  • excellent understanding of processes in Procurement and proven ability to constantly improve these processes;

  • very good written and oral communication in English and German (additional language skills a plus);

  • good knowledge of MS Office and SAP;

  • strong track record of leading and coaching teams (preferably in SSC environment);

  • excellent communication and presentation skills;

  • team player able to work in cross cultural team;

  • strong work ethics;

  • being open and receptive to the change;

  • ability to build relationships with business partners and customers;

  • sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company’s success;

  • time-management skills;

  • structured and result-oriented working methods;

  • ability to deliver results within targeted time and make decisions quickly;
