This role is part of the Digital &Technology department of HEINEKEN International and is located in HEINEKEN Global Shared Service. The Product Architect (Media) is part of the Product team and is one of the professionals who do the work of delivering a potentially releasable increment of the product at the end of each sprint. Product Teams are structured and empowered by the organization to organize and manage their own work. The resulting synergy optimizes the Product Team’s overall efficiency and effectiveness.

The Product Architect (Media) owns the end-to-end architecture for the product. He understands Product Owners needs and converts them into solution architecture specifications in line with overall architectural standards and roadmaps.

Your responsibilities

  • Ensuring consistency of the overall solution;

  • Working with the Product Owner to understand, elicit, analyze, document and communicate program and platform/application requirements;

  • Participating in the selection of new technologies;

  • Providing guidance and coaching to other product team members on changes throughout the design process;

  • Managing the quality of the solution and technical debt;

  • Identifying potential bottlenecks and their underlying causes that affect the product and proposes how to resolve these;

  • Maintaining awareness of emerging technologies, industry trends, and architecture best practices; and evaluating them for applicability;

  • Keeping up with relevant developments in own functional area and ensure development, transfer and retention of knowledge. Being together with team members end-to-end responsible to deliver the value of a single Product through the entire Product life cycle;

  • Delivering working product enhancements with the allocated timescale and quality standards that minimize rework and aspire a zero defect culture;

  • Self-organizing with other team members. There is no separate management layer, work is planned and executed by the team;

  • Ensuring that the key competencies and expertise needed to develop, build, deploy and support the Product are embedded in the team;

  • Being responsible for ensuring the overall HEINEKEN standards and best practices are adhered by (i.e. Quality, Compliance);

  • Being a business and technical consultant that is responsible for the design of the product;

  • Being a dedicated team member that remain assigned to the Product Team over longer periods of time;

  • Being tech-savvy team member who develops products with innovative elements

  • Formulating the architecture & design based on functional and non-functional requirements, balancing the goals and constraints on the solution;

  • Collaborating with Domain and Enterprise Architect on the solution design to ensure it conforms to overall architectural vision and technical roadmap;

  • Conducting continuous improvement analysis on existing application architectures and identifying architectural optimizations;

  • Verifying the implementation—ensuring the delivered system is consistent with the agreed architecture, and meet the requirements

  • Ensuring the ease of use of our tools by understanding UX/UI needs

Our requirements

  • You have 3-5 years of relevant previous experience

  • You have experience of rolling out PowerBI solui

  • You have knowledge of Marketing Technology solutions and key vendors (Adobe or Google)

  • You have deep knowledge of media planning & reporting (i.e. advertising, social media)

  • You have knowledge of Microsoft Azure BI, AI and PowerBI tools

  • You have Bachelor/Master’s degree

  • You have excellent communication skills (both verbal and in writing): ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical people;

  • You have excellent stakeholder management skills

  • Knowledge of Media Management

  • Experience with Media and Digital Creative agencies

  • Can identify areas that drive most scale and business impact

  • Ability to work with, and implement agile ways of working

  • You are analytically and quantitatively strong, highly structured;

  • You have strong technical background with experience in one or more IT areas;

  • You are a team player and are able to work effectively at all levels of the product teams with the ability to influence others to move toward consensus;

  • You are able to identify and understand multiple stakeholder perspectives and "truths" and bring an open mind to understanding and build on the views of others.

  • You have ability to work in teams and work dedicated for a team.

  • You have strong understanding of technical specifics;

  • You have ability to make decisions about which technologies are needed to develop the product;

  • You have ability to visualise and create high-level models (rigorous information-rich diagrams) that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture;

  • You have fluent English
