    Product Controller – Specialist / Team Leader # 115010

    Description

    Product Control are the financial guardians of the bank's sales and trading activities and therefore play a critical part within the broader finance organisation in providing independent validation of the Investment Bank’s Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet. Line Control have exposure to a broad range of financial instruments across the Fixed Income and Equities areas supporting businesses based primarily in New York, London, and Zurich.

     

    You will be able to develop strong control, process and operational skills with training provided, in particular but not limited to: Excel, Financial reporting and analysis, detailed product and systems knowledge. These skills will position you well for a long and successful career within Credit Suisse.

    • You will validate and analyse P&L high level risk attribution
    • You will identify and report issues and suggest/implement solutions
    • You will report P&L and balance sheet substantiation
    • You will control reporting, including SOX documentation
    • You will analyse daily P&L exceptions
    • You will build relationships with front office, operations, and PC change

    Qualifications

    • You have 5-7 years of proven experience in financial control, fund accounting, accounts payable, derivatives operations, or middle office
    • You are fluent in English
    • You are proficient in Excel
    • You are experienced in team leadership and people management
    • You are a self starter with a can do attitude, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
    • You are detailed oriented, have control mindset and analytical skills
    • You are committed to ongoing learning and you love to share knowledge to others
    • You have an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or Engineering
    • Knowledge of Loan products, OTC or Listed Derivatives a significant plus
    • You are passionate about process and flexibility in a challenging and fast-paced environment
