Your responsibilities
As a Product Costing & Inventory Accounting Team Manager, you are responsible for the professional service delivery of the team as well as the continuous improvement of all services offered following internal and external compliance regulations
You are managing a team and you are running and implementing all Product Costing & Inventory Accounting processes for different European markets according to the company values as well as our Leadership principles with focus on customer experience excellence, business process excellence and people development
You are contributing on new deployments for all related systems, and you are coordinating the handling and improvement of diverse ERP-systems and linked financial tools
You are responsible for the coordination month end activities within the scope, collaboration and increasing exchange with different stakeholders
Regarding workload management and the management of escalations, you can dive deeply in particular processes to help improve them, properly assign tasks, and define actions for issue resolution
The regular exchange with our internal and external stakeholders as well as managing escalations using your strong communication skills, social and technical competencies, are also a key part of your role to strive for a splendid customer experience
You will work on projects and in the environment where we use targets to measure the service quality, ensuring process adherence in run mode
Our requirements
You should speak English language min. on a C1 level. You have min. 3 years of leadership experience together with min. 6 years of professional experience in Accounting-to-Reporting / Record-to-Report, Controlling or similar in an industrial Manufacturing environment or a Shared Services environment that interacts with industrial Manufacturing processes.
Additionally, we are looking for:
A Master’s Degree in Finance and Accountancy or similar
Distinct empathy, team spirit, accountability, intrapreneurship, and a high service orientation with customer centricity
Positive approach with ability to come up with ideas in our Speak-Up culture and actively participate in process optimization
Proven ability to capture complex issues in a solution-oriented working style
High quality awareness, resilience, and independence considering changing requirements
Excellent SAP know-how and working experience with the ERP system, preferably with SAP S4Hana
Knowledge and/or experience in manufacturing processes, calculation of product cost and material master data
Ability to work in a diverse international environment
Availability for travel
