Your responsibilities

  • Supporting teams of specialists who take care of middleware systems for Lufthansa Group companies,

  • Ensuring smooth operations for the assigned services and customers in accordance with the contractually agreed services,

  • Conducting technical communication (presentations, on-site meetings, regular conference calls, online meetings) with customers,

  • Processing and coordination of customer inquiries, complaints and escalations,

  • Independent recording and analysis of customer requirements,

  • Ensuring the development of satisfactory concepts and solutions for change and service requests in cooperation with customers, departments and service providers, including content evaluation, effort estimation, communication and, if necessary, price negotiation,

  • Coordination of the implementation, documentation, introduction and release planning of change and service requests,

  • Coordination of technical planning,

  • Cost management for the assigned area of responsibility,

  • Close cooperation with product management, software development, application operations and account management in all project and product-related matters,

  • Technical and product-related support in the sales process,

  • Identification and implementation of process and process improvements in the respective areas,

  • Coordination and support of incident, problem and change management,

  • Implementation and coordination of service improvement plans in cooperation with the respective units,

  • Ensuring the maintenance of the operational documentation, the quality of the technical monitoring as well as the service level monitoring and reporting in cooperation with the responsible operational teams,

  • Collaboration in the cross-organizational teams of Lufthansa Systems, Lufthansa Group companies and their suppliers,

  • Support and, if necessary, collaboration in implementation projects for the introduction of new services.

Our requirements

  • Very good level of communication in English and Polish,

  • Teamwork skills,

  • Higher education,

  • Professional experience in a similar position is welcome - especially for IT operations (complex applications). As well, knowledge of airline business and operational processes,

  • Experience in working directly with the clients,

  • Ability to work in a complex and multicultural environment,

  • Very good communication and negotiation skills as well as strong customer and service orientation,

  • Independence in action. High interpersonal skills. Highly developed analytical and conceptual thinking and technical understanding skills,

  • Knowledge of the software development and operations processes and IT product management is welcome.


  • Scrum or Kanban experience,

  • ITIL certification,

  • German language skills.
