- Create interactive, engaging and usable visual designs through user research, customer journey mapping, storytelling and other techniques to balance user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints
- Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, and high/ low fidelity prototype designs that lead to usable and desirable user experiences
- Work with product teams to create new engaging visuals, artefacts and dashboards, and evaluate/ improve existing solutions
- Manage, plan and coordinate design and requirements elicitation workshops with key stakeholders
- Manage the overall design life-cycle from ideation, realization, and evolution using modern design principles and techniques
- Manage the Human Computer Interaction and User Experience Design process across the Companys product portfolio
- Oversee, manage and direct the work of both internal and external product designers and vendors to ensure quality and fit of the solution
- Collaborate with internal digital groups to define and ensure compliance of Next Gen products with Bain’s global product design standards
- 5 - 7 years of hands-on experience in designing and bringing to market digital products and services
- Experience of managing Product Design/UX suppliers
- Strong understanding and working knowledge of UX/UI, task analysis techniques, Design Thinking, and Agile methodologies
- Fluency in working with state of the art UI and prototyping tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma, InVision)
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interface across many areas and levels of Bain
- Bachelor or Master Degree in software related subjects preferred
- C1 proficiency in English

This is a hands-on role that will involve applying a User Centered Design approach to create impactful digital software products and services in an integrated team environment with Strategy Consultants, Product Managers, Incubation Leads, Architects and Engineers. You will lead the full end-to-end design process; user research, usability evaluations and analysis, synthesis, concept creation and ideation, prototyping, testing, and high-fidelity UI and visual designs.
You will also contribute to the product strategy, be the advocate for the power and value of great design, and collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders and clients.
In addition to core software product design, this role will collaborate closely with other Bain teams to define and ensure adherence to global design standards and best practices.
