Product Launch & Portfolio Specialist

Your responsibilities

  • The role has primary responsibility for Project management of key product launches from evaluation until steady supply post launch

  • Ensuring all product introductions follow a robust process that adheres to regional and local regulatory, quality, supply chain and commercial requirements

  • Management of key functions to ensure on time delivery of each milestone to meet the final launch date target.

  • Issuing resolution including introduction of new processes or systems into the business to avoid repeat occurrence of issues to deliver a robust launch process

  • Detailed project management of delivery of products in region, including market readiness, management of logistical plans and supporting co-ordination of external test and release sites where required for priority products

  • Providing visibility of launch dates and key milestones for each SKU to markets

  • Project prioritization, identify risk factors, and work collaboratively with key stakeholders to diminish impact on launch timelines

  • Performing post launch review key launches

  • Coordinating key functional meetings with functional members and ensure escalation of issues in a timely manor

  • Report status updates on projects to a range of stakeholders

  • Identifies bottlenecks, dependencies, and key decisions points in the launch process

  • Identify products for inclusion in the portfolio and preparation of business cases to support inclusion in the central development plan or local sourcing plan

  • Provide local product and market insights to drive effective and efficient input into Global & Local Portfolio initiatives

  • Secures portfolio strategy fits within the overarching company strategy of development

Our requirements

  • Project management experience

  • Pharmaceutical/Healthcare experience

  • Excellent IT skills including MS Office (Excel & Word), ability to effectively manipulate and analyse data

  • Excellent communication in written, oral and presentation skills

  • Ability and understanding of working in an international cross-cultural organization

  • Self-motivated

  • Positive attitude/ perseverance

  • Ability to build teams, motivate people and strong interpersonal skills

  • Highly organised with excellent organisational and time management skills; high level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Results focused, with a business orientated/commercially astute approach

  • Ability to demonstrate calm objectivity in a pressurised, results driven environment, whilst successfully dealing with often changing and conflicting priorities

  • Motivated individual who is flexible and willing to learn continuous best practice
