    Strategy and Innovation

    • Generates a market penetration and growth strategy while maintaining an annual business plan with targets and metrics. Strategic plans include the articulation and documentation of key initiatives, utilization of resources, impact on business results, as well as execution of action plans.
    • Analyzes and determines market needs to optimize partnering, development investments, industry and geographical focus.
    • Selects and collaborates with business partners to develop a long-term technology vision and roadmap.
    • Promotes implementation of innovative ideas to gain mindshare of sales organization.

     

    Business Process and Execution

    • Collaborates, influences and aligns key stakeholders across Rockwell Automation business units, services, sales, marketing, and partners to support achievement of long-term growth and performance objectives of the initiative.
    • Leverages teams to optimize the use of resources, including people, capital, facilities and suppliers to meet or exceed business objectives.
    • Manages multiple stakeholders including manufacturing, internal business units, development engineering, sales, channel distribution, marketing, third party partners, etc.

    Leadership and Change

    • Balances tactical day to day responsibilities while ensuring focus on strategic initiatives and the long term success of the business.
    • Champions and fosters a climate of diversity and inclusion.

    • Remains calm under pressure, especially with regard to customer negotiations. Highly resilient; pursues tasks with drive and a sense of urgency. Consistently moves problems toward resolution and helps others do the same.

     WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE

    • Bachelor’s degree required in an Engineering or Technical discipline.

    • Minimum 8 years of experience working in an electrical power project environment, including experience with MCCs, drives, and switchgear.

    • Ability and willingness to travel 25% of time, both in region and international.

     

    NICE TO HAVE:

    • Experience in leadership, contract negotiations, and business development within an Engineered to Order (ETO) business.
    • MBA or other advanced degree.
    • Strong knowledge and experience with IEC standards and IEC market dynamics.
