Your responsibilities

We are now looking for a new Product Manager, Merchant Cranes. This role can be located at any Global Services Division (GSD) location.

The main responsibilities of this position:

• Promote best practice activities to all GSD Sales team & MacGregor Operations personnel to ensure maximum sales potential for spare parts and services for the product(s) that you are responsible

• Motivate, coach and follow up with the GSD sales force working in conjunction with all Regional Account Managers (RAMs)

• Support the Line Manager on developing new market initiatives and ideas embedding/applying existing digital solutions linked to the product you are responsible for but not limited to in order to grow the after sales business

• Work as part of a team with the other Product Managers and RAMs to ensure a global and harmonized approach to all GSD activities, initiatives & campaigns

• Ownership of your product IB – Installed base – product data

Some of the key tasks in this role will be:

• Develop, promote & monitor sales & service campaigns for your products in conjunction with GSC, and other GSD staff

• Develop and provide KPI data to management for your respective running campaigns

• Actively participate in Regional meetings and engage with RAMs and GSC Team Leaders by holding regular meetings to ensure continuous follow up on your products and given Salesforce tasks

• Use GAP to POTENTIAL methodology with the available tool to encourage GSD teams to target untapped potential

• Ensure you stay in contact with your respective new building sales team to be aware of any new product developments entering the market

• Keep constant and proactive communication with the Digital Team Collect market intelligence and work with Pricing Manager to ensure parts prices are set at correct market price levels

• Liaise and assist Supply Chain/Procurement/MMD team whenever required

• Support GSD sales team where required when negotiating MacGregor Service Agreements

• Meet customers together with GSD sales team on a regular basis

Our requirements

Your education should be a technical degree, with strong commercial and suitable technical background or equivalent

We expect you to have at the minimum 5-8 year track record from relevant service business as well as relevant products experience. Ideally you will have worked in a global matrix organisation.

The required competences for this role are:

• Commercial & negotiation experience and interest is essential

• Suitable Technical knowledge on your own products to enable best practice selling to the customer

• Leading and supervising projects

• Excellent social and communication skills

• Fluency in English

• Willingness to travel abroad
