About the project
The Product Manager is accountable for the complete product lifecycle of products / application, from conception and scale-up through to ramp-down, including release update planning and execution. Ensures product competitiveness, stickiness, and excellent customer experience, as well as improve Customer Perceived Value Index (CPVI) through the respective product / application. Responsible for providing updated product / application roadmaps, delivery guidelines, sales guidance as well as the achievement of revenue and profitability goals of the assigned product / application.
This specific Product Manager will be responsible to drive Product Management aspects of selected Network Management Releases for Network Management products.
Your responsibilities
- release content planning
- release content definition including Customer features, serviceability, security, quality targets, and product cost.
- defines and maintains the Release milestone plan
- defines the Business Priorities of Features based on preliminary prioritization done by product domain priorities
- participates in the release content handshake with sales teams
- Develops and maintains Release backlog"
- release Management in execution phase
- leads milestone preparation from product management
- ensures capability development for Marketing, Sales, Operations (Manufacturing, Procurement, etc.), and Services
- responsible to coordinate development of release technical and operational documentation (e.g. technical presentation, customer feature list, product overview, operating documentation)
- responsibility to agree Trials and Pilots
- manages Business Risks & Opportunities
- owns Product Master Data and is responsible for the data quality over the lifetime of the Product
- release Management in maintenance phase
- contributes to release maintenance management activities from product management
- ensures capability management for Marketing, Sales, Operations (Manufacturing, Procurement, etc.), and Services
- manages Business Risks & Opportunities
Our requirements
- several years of relevant experience (e.g. in marketing, product or business development, architecture, sales)
- a deep understanding of web, mobile and telco technologies, standards, best practices, and how these can be leveraged to drive customer engagement
- experience with Telecom OSS/BSS/NMS products
- good interpersonal and networking capabilities & skills
- working autonomously in own subject area
- decision making skills and prioritizing own work
- excellent written and oral communication in English
- bachelor/master’s in engineering and/or MBA
- experience in managing a cross functional/international team
- good communication skills (inside organization as well as in front of partners & customers)
