    Job Description
     
    MDO/SC Team Leader is in charge of Product Master Data Organization that is responsible for the efficient and effective management of Product Master Data and product hierarchies for Europe and EMA. CMDO team  is in charge (creation / update / de-activation) of multiple Master Data objects in a timely and accurate manner with clear accountability for data integrity. Also the team lead will have responsibility for Supply Chain Analysts that will be accountable for expediting, and order activities as it relates to product availability for shipping.

     

    MDO/SC TL participates and contributes to the setup a shared service center, including process & system implementation, team organization, recruitment and supports building a new platform.
     
    This person will also ensure a proper knowledge transfer from functional stakeholders the team. The person on this role will be responsible for managing quantitative and qualitative performance of the team, in line with company business processes, and notably for the productivity and quality of the service provided in accordance to targets.
     
    The Team Leader should strive to maintain customer satisfaction at a high level, constantly look for operational efficiency and engage personally in continuous improvement initiatives. She/ he needs to be engaged, depending on internal demand and stakeholder needs, in operational activities.

    Work and activities:

    • Team members recruitment in collaboration with HR and management,
    • Ensuring that proper training and coaching are provided by the right experts, including him/herself, and that development plans are in place,
    • Putting in place measures, processes, and process documentation,
    • The day to day coordination of activities, appropriate team sizing, scheduling and work allocation in a multinational environment,
    • Ensuring that Customer Master Data maintenance activities are performed in accordance to agreed policies and rules
    • Guaranteeing the processes quality and effectiveness, ensures that systems are properly used, putting in place the necessary measures, operating procedure and service level agreements
    • Reporting on team activity performance
    • Ensuring that all appropriate plans are put in place to ensure business continuity
    • Is responsible for data quality checks on Customer Master Data objects (prepares reports, analyzes them)
    • Coordinates the correction of Customer Master Data objects according to data quality checks within the Team
    • Is the expert for Customer Master Data setup, resolves issues related to it
    • Supports implementation of new systems applicable for Customer Master Data and participates in projects related to Customer Master Data for Europe and EMA
    • Develops strong relations with internal stakeholders (Customer Cares teams, TSSC managers, IT partners and IT Leaders, Business Leaders), and Supply Chain Planning Stakeholders
    • Work in close partnership with MDM stakeholders in order to contribute to the satisfaction of our customers and ensure operational efficiency.
    • Participate in Department management teams to share, anticipate opportunities and report continuous improvement ideas

    Team Performance:

    • Be responsible for his (her) team performance and development
    • Participate in Key performance indicators and dashboards development
    • Provides Product Master Data transactional trending and analysis
    • Ensures that Service Level Agreements are respected
    • Be responsible for team objectives achievements
    • Constantly search for ways to improve productivity, performance, process efficiency, data quality of Product Master Data objects, and Supply Chain activities.
    We are looking for a person with proven leadership skills and ideally a knowledge of supply chain, logistics and product master data. You should have at least 3-5 years (or more) of relevant business experience in either logistics, customer service, supply chain or procurement operations.


    Additionally, we would be looking for:

    • Proficiency in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint is key
    • Experience with ERP systems
