Your responsibilities
Position Description
QIAGEN is the leading global provider of Sample to Insight solutions that enable customers to gain valuable molecular insights from samples containing the building blocks of life
The Digital Accelerator department leverages all digital sales and marketing channels to drive revenue growth. We increasingly utilize advanced analytics to enable data-based decision making, and foster integration of QIAGEN solutions into a seamless digital ecosystem to transform how customers engage with QIAGEN. Our digital solutions were awarded several times, and we are performing hackathons and open innovation workshops to further drive digital transformation at QIAGEN
Responsible for the planning, development and ongoing enhancement of one or more product solutions from concept through launch to overall success.
You will:
* Set the direction for QIAGEN’S digital ecosystem by driving the product vision and strategy products in your area
* Collaborate with development teams, business analysts, product owners and a number of different stakeholders in an international team setup
* Be responsible for understanding use cases, features, business & technical domain rules and overall product goals. Create and refine business cases and short, medium and long-term product roadmaps for new initiatives
* Be accountable for the solutions’ by defining user stories and setting the Scrum Team’s backlog priorities ensuring the team delivers value for our business
Our requirements
At least 3 years of experience as product owner (preferred), software project manager or business analyst in the area of digital services.
Understanding of software development life cycles and software development methodologies (SCRUM)
Experience in working with Agile development teams, delivering complex initiatives through iterative development cycles
Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills
Ability to thoroughly understand complex business and technical issues and influence decision making at all levels of the organization
Ability to facilitate effective meetings, actively listen, present and explain
Superb interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
