    SeaChange Polska Sp. o o creates User Experience solutions for mobile devices, decoders and backoffice systems, implemented by pay television operators around the world.

    Our Warsaw team of engineers is part of an international team dedicated to developing software in line with practices that have been improved for over 20 years.

    We speak in many languages: C, C ++, C # / .NET, JavaScript, Objective-C, Swift, Java. We work in small independent teams according to the SCRUM methodology. We do code review, Continuous Integration and DevOps. We take care of high test coverage, high quality documentation and verified architectural solutions.

    Every day we work in the center of Warsaw, in a convenient location close to the metro and other public transports (in the city).


    • Acting as a Product Owner for a scrum team (programmers, testers), working directly with the team on development of one or more SeaChange products;
    • Prioritization and preparation of product backlog, with support of analysts and architects;
    • Planning and delivering software releases. Taking responsibility for timelines and quality of releases;
    • Long-term planning of work for teams;
    • Working in an international team of engineers - teams from Europe and the USA;
    • Working in the SCRUM methodology, using the best software development practices;
    • Precise and honest communication with the rest of the company about planned releases, issues the team is facing;
    • Monitoring risk and estimating impact on releases.

    You are the person we are looking for, if:

    • You have experience in working as a Product Owner or Project Manager, particularly with preparing and prioritizing backlog based on business priorities;
    • You have at least 5 years of experience in directly leading people in software development projects;
    • You know agile software development cycle;
    • You speak English to the extent that you can communicate effectively with English-speaking team members and prepare formal project documentation;
    • You have experience in using Jira Agile;
    • You know how proper IT project documentation (release notes, user manual, technical notes, test reports, etc.) should look like;
    • You know what is the difference between following JQL statements:
      • fixversion = “1.0”
      • fixversion in (“1.0”)
    • You are not afraid to tackle problems that you have never seen before.

    Nice to have qualifications:

    • Experience in working with digital television, Internet video, media management technologies;
    • Practical knowledge of the DVB standard in particular, channel management, EPG, CA;
    • Experience in testing automation;
    • Experience in advertising delivery technologies;
    • Experience in programming;
    • Experience in system analysis or technical design;
    • Experience as a scrum master;
    • Knowledge of Jira Portfolio;
    • Knowledge of Sphinx, RST, Linux, Windows Server, VMware.
