Your responsibilities

  • creating IT products definitions (Final ones as well as MVPs) in the way that the products can be flexible with adjusting to changing business needs and possibly reused in the future for new customers

  • managing product backlog(s) (defining epics and/or stories in “clean” and understandable by the customer and team way, including DoD and DoR), according to business values and technical debts

  • identifying and analyzing product metrics – both business KPIs and creation process KPIs – and using them as a cornerstone for team focus and priorities

  • sharing product statuses and knowledge with your clients, peers as well as with Product Leadership team

  • cooperating with Program Managers and Architects in order to deliver complex solutions build out of multiple products

  • cooperating with business/system analysts who deliver detailed models and documentation supporting product definitions and solution designs

  • identifying future potential of your products and getting your teams, customers and business network excited about it

  • preparing required product documentation, correspondence and presentations, as needed, for status reports, management updates, meetings, annual planning, etc.

Our requirements

  • experience at work in a complex, multi-company and multi-language landscape

  • “can do” attitude

  • being outcome driven

  • ability to adhere to corporate rules, not overestimating speed of work

  • ability to manage bigger and new but also smaller and legacy products or functionalities

  • 3+ years of experience in product creation in the role of Product Owner or Product Manager

  • some experience in gathering user insights and interpreting data analytics

  • knowledge and understanding of Agile methodologies (especially SCRUM and Kanban)

  • at least 3 products delivered to customers/end users

  • passion for and ability to rigorously discuss and debate new digital technologies

  • flexible and people-oriented approach to managing the team/product lifecycle

  • ability to understand key business drivers/models and communicate these to a varied audience

  • full command of English


  • technical IT experience

  • Polish language proficiency

  • German language proficiency​

  • knowledge of insurance products and insurance business processes
