    About the job

    Job Purpose

    Role with this profile could be expected to manage product pricing activities across the full breadth of Disciplines within the Finance Community, depending on specific experience and expertise; including Business Controllers, Financial Engineers and Business Partnering consultants supporting Sales and Business Lines. Reporting in matrix structure to Product Pricing Office Head and Operations Manager.

    The role is responsible for team and team members’ development and process effectiveness and outcomes.

    Key Accountabilities

    Pricing Operations:

    • Coordinate price rounds on a monthly basis to decide with stakeholder the following pricing actions
    • Assist countries in adjusting prices to local conditions
    • Maintenance and development of the relevant pricing process landscape and tools
    • Bring in a scientific approach into product pricing, in accordance to market orientated pricing model (price elasticity)
    • Responsibility for product market analysis with respect to product prices
    • Responsibility for setting the recommended prices (LP/DRP) for end customers and channel, taking into account market development, competition as well as FUJITSU portfolio with respect to customer value and  manufacturing cost structure
    • Price positioning of products (PhaseIn/Launch, product lifecycle pricing, PhaseOut)
    • Leading participation in the definition of List Price / Dealer Reference Price for the sales regions.
    • Target Costing: drafting of the relevant price, cost and feature set comparisons
    • Apply technical knowledge and expertise to effectively resolve process issues, evaluate scenarios and manage specific assignments for process change or improvements, or to deliver information and recommendations for informed decision-making

    Team Management:

    • Monitor, interpreting and delivering operating performance according to the targets via defined KPI’
    • Manage proactively the implementation and prioritization of continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with key stakeholders     
    • Manage and develop a team, provide staff with appropriate level of support to enable them to develop the team and individuals
    • Ensures individual objectives are agreed with manager and communicated clearly to team members and work together toward achieving them   
    • Ownership of relations with the key stakeholders in the area of responsibility                 
    • Ensure proper performance cycle, regular team meetings and individual communication

    Key Performance Indicators:

    • Analyzing market and competitor behavior to have the foundation for pricing activities
    • On time price setting in the central tools to make sure that countries get the relevant data for further use
    • Strong buy in and trust from Product Management and Marketing community (central and local)
    • Recommends changes/ development/ streamlining of processes
    • Clear evidence of operational improvement from recommendations                                
    • Team and individual objectives set and achieved, including Personal Development Plans for all individuals in the team          
    • Builds strong and effective relationships with colleagues, customers and other teams to drive successful outcomes through effective collaboration and engagement

    • Market Intelligence department (Gartner, IDC and other market intelligence providers)
    • Finance local/in country units

    Desired Experience & Knowledge:

    • Completed university education or college with major in Business Administration, Computer Science or Marketing
    • Experience in working in virtual teams
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in product pricing/ product marketing/ product planning and competitive analysis and interpretation
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in team leader role
    • Good understanding of cost and margin structures
