Your responsibilities

  • The Product Support Engineering (PSE) activities have been reorganized & integrated into a Center of Competences with the aim of enhancing fleet manager effectiveness, leveraging product Lifecycle Engineering fundamentals.
  • We are looking for a talented & experienced Product Support Engineer who will provide technical support to our customers to maintain fleet safety, reliability and cost of ownership for the H80/M601 engine lines.
  • In this role you will be responsible for responding to customer issues in timely manner, provide dispositions for fielded hardware, identify leading indicators, create and implement flying fleet management plans.
  • be responsible for the resolution of the technical issues of the engine during its serviceable life;
  • respond in time-and quality to technical questions from the operators;
  • provide trouble shooting and solutions to in-service issues;
  • prepare Design Repairs and Departure Records and share with the operators;
  • perform Root cause analysis for in-service engine failures, keeping the agencies informed;
  • introduce corrective and containment actions to the field;
  • improve the Instructions for Continued Airworthiness to better support the operators;
  • manage the reliability data of the fleet and the fleet model

Our requirements

  • Master degree in mechanical engineering or related field,
  • Minimum 3 years of design or repair engineering experience,
  • General knowledge of engine architecture,
  • Willingness to continuous learning and sharing best practices within the organization
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to reasonably set priorities on assigned tasks
  • Strong technical and problem solving skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required
  • English language knowledge, both written and oral
  • Knowledge of aeronautical Certification rules, ie EASA Part 21 and 145, CS-E, FAR’s
  • Experience in Aviation Overhaul shop practices.
  • Technical knowledge of turboshaft/turboprop maintenance tasks.
  • Proven experience in dealing with the Authority
  • General knowledge of manufacturing and/or repair processes, Aircraft Maintenance, Documents and Engine Shop Manuals content, NPI process
