Support the Divisional Financial operations with direct reporting line to the Chief Accountant/Division Accountant, dotted line to Managing Director of Division.
Manage Monthly Variation from standard reporting including documenting current status and next action steps in review of P&L: Revenue, COGs & GM, Balance Sheet: WIP, AR and Accrued Revenue balances, contract value and closing date.
Review of Divisional Bids up to $250k before approval, to enhance balance sheet Working Capital. Work with controller and team on bids $250k+.
Prepare monthly project forecast from PMs which will feed into cashflow projection for the projects. This will feed into working capital analysis.
Ensure DCAA, FAR and DFAR compliance requirements are maintained, which KVG has signed up to operate under in all financial actions. Feedback to management areas of concern.
Understand & highlight cost efficiencies and where we can reduce risk.
Act as liaison to establish and monitor international letters of credit with HQ.
Ensure Project is setup once contracts are in place. Understand contract financial terms/billing. Own Project closeout.
Complete Project Reviews with PMs for key projects and where risk is high.
Complete Project Budget Entry and phased forecast of remaining expenditures through project. Assist in annual budget process.
Handle general ledger accounting, understand AR and AP in a scope of projects.
Update weekly finance meetings with Division business and vice versa.
Support Chief Accountant/finance team with financial audits.
Support Division Accountant with analysis of P&L and Balance Sheet accounts by project and division.
Prepared to rotate through finance department for special projects.
Any other duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting or similar business major. Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar ERP system (Navision, AX)
5 years or more year progressive accounting, reporting & auditing. Strong General Ledger, AR, AP and accounting.
Experienced in compliance with federal, state and local legal requirements and executing those requirements for a company.
Ability to communicate clearly in English language, written and spoken Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and accuracy
Analytical thinking, high level of responsibility, work completion within Set timeframes
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office suite Ability to travel domestically and internationally
ACA, GAAP, IFRS, , MS SharePoint, Fraud Prevention.
