Your responsibilities
- Designing, implementation and commissioning of DMM applications, mainly for paper machines and steam & gas turbines (system hardware design and application engineering on Valmet DNA – DCS platform)
- Selection of sensors for given application as well as sensors installation and calibration
- Creation of project documentation: hardware and software definitions, system layouts, cabinets drawings, IO lists, loop diagrams, FAT procedures/protocols, quality documents
- Participation and organization Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT)
- Participation in commissioning at customer site and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
- Participation in customer’s site audits in case of retrofit projects to facilitate DMM related scope definition
- Technical support for Sales teams and project managers during sales phase
- Technical support for Service teams during maintenance service after project completion
- Communication with customer in terms of technical scope, handling of change requests together with PM
- Performing technical trainings for customer operations and maintenance personnel
Our requirements
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in automation or mechanics (or similar) is considered as perfect background
- Relevant experience on similar position
- Knowledge and experience with condition monitoring systems, vibration analysis, overspeed protections, special measurements (e.g. ISO 18436 Category II Intermediate Vibration Analyst Training & Certification)
- Knowledge and experience with automation control systems (DCS / SCADA / PLC)
- Knowledge of ATEX directive requirements is considered as additional benefit
- Very good English and Polish (both written and spoken) are mandatory
- Other languages skills would be considered as an additional benefit (especially German)
- Microsoft Office skills (very good Excel skills, Visual Basic macros)
- Driving license (at least B category)
- Willingness to business travels (up to 50% of working time)

The Condition Monitoring Project Engineer is responsible for the technical implementation and coordination of Valmet DNA DMM (DNA Machine Monitoring – also commonly referred to as Condition Monitoring) project deliveries ensuring timeliness, cost efficiency and meeting our customers’ expectations. You will be also responsible for supporting service teams during service maintenance after project completion. On this position, you will work in multinational environment with our customers from Paper, Energy and Marine industries around the world.
