Your responsibilities

  • Organizational Project Portfolio Management, based on quantified approach to project prioritization and risk management

  • Defining the organization's project management strategy, based on market best practices

  • Organizing overall change program by driving the implementation of the decided action fields (e.g. changed go-to-market, change in sales channels, holistic approach on processes)

  • Continuing company’s optimization process, reassessing business strategy to current market situation

  • Facilitating change by constant communication with all stakeholders and challenging Polish Management team as trusted advisor

  • Daily close cooperation with IT Team

  • Managing project through project lifecycle via developing project strategies, planning actions, coordination of activities and allocating resources, requirements management, managing finances

  • Managing cross-functional project team

  • Providing regular insights and proposals for overall improvement of change program to executive management

  • Ensure realistic project plans are developed and maintained during the project, ensuring regular and accurate communication amongst all stakeholders throughout

  • Ensure billable projects remain on schedule and within budget and deliverables are created to an agreed standard

  • Provide team leadership: building a team, motivating staff, aligning project requirements to resource competencies, delegating work assignments and monitoring performance

  • Monitor project deliverables and progress through continuous communication with project members, anticipating disruptions and providing progress reporting

  • Own the project budget and maintain project financials and project profitability, to include resource scheduling, revenue forecasting per project, billing reconciliations, expense report and time approval for project work, etc.

  • Adopt appropriate project management methods and tools whether predictive (plan-driven) or adaptive (iterative/agile) as circumstances dictate

Our requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as Project Manager with full responsibility for project results in cross-functional organization (technology projects in financial sector)

  • Fluent English and Polish is a must

  • Experience in leading teams in Matrix organization

  • Leadership skills combined with team player mindset

  • Excellent knowledge of project management methods (preferably proven with one of certifications: PMP, AgilePM Practitioner)

  • Practical knowledge of Agile methodologies

  • Practical knowledge of business / system analysis (UML, BPMN) and test management

  • Strong proven client management skills with the ability to facilitate and influence stakeholders

  • Being a self-determined, results-oriented professional with ability to facilitate and drive strategic change

  • Excellent communication skills with ability to influencing others

  • Exceptional organizational skills, ability to set priorities and act according to the planned schedules and well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills
