A few words about tonik

We’re a well-knit design studio focused on early-stage digital products. We work with some of the coolest startups from around the globe, often directly with the founders themselves - from Y Combinator alumni to actual Unicorns. All that, in our oh-so-cool office in Poznań (Jeżyce). What’s not to love?

Project Manager

Joining us as a Project Manager means:

  • supporting the team of top-notch designers and developers, helping them to deliver beautiful, innovative and effective digital products
  • building and maintaining rapport with world-class clients — think calling into NY’s skyscrapers and SF’s wood sheds a few times a week
  • managing budgets, schedules and project’s scope, following delivery progress and anticipating risks
  • supporting sales and accounting processes — think defining and estimating new requests, issuing and sending invoices etc.
  • having impact on processes and our entire company — we love feedback and proactivity
  • developing your skills even further while working with industry experts — we back you up on your growth journey
  • enjoying independence and ownership while working in a friendly atmosphere
  • actually loving your work (yup!) — we’re committed to creating an environment that
  • helps our teammates thrive, on all levels

We’d love to meet you if you have:

  • excellent grasp of spoken and written English (C1)
  • great communication skills, lot of energy and a positive attitude allowing you to nurture relationships with your teammates and clients, gather and share feedback and, if necessary, support the team in communication-related issues
  • min. 1 year of experience as a Project Manager, Scrum Master or Product Owner. Managing a few IT projects simultaneously (product design field would be ideal)
  • ability to manage team’s and client’s expectations while dealing with timelines and deadlines
  • ability to juggle dozens different contexts and projects simultaneously
  • self-reliance and an ability to organize and prioritize your work with efficiency in mind, but also being capable of supporting others in such areas
  • ability to manage resources and staying agile while doing so
  • availability to schedule a call with a client in a different time zone (NY, SF) — think a few weekly calls in late afternoon or evening
  • a lot of drive and ambition - we aim for the absolute crème de la crème

Here’s what would help too:

  • experience in managing product design projects
  • true interest in and knowledge of UI/UX principles and development trends
  • interest or experience in sales of IT products
  • knowledge about capabilities and limitations determined by most common front-end frameworks for both web and mobile
  • being up to date with trends and new concepts in digital design

The perks

Apart from the obvious street cred, here’s some other stuff you would be getting:

  • B2B contract with a net salary of 7000 - 11,000 zł + VAT, (UOP option available)
  • generous social: 20-26 of paid vacation days and paid sick leave
  • dedicated time for self-development and a clear growth plan that you establish yourself on growth and salary-update talks every 6 months
  • fantastic team of top-notch digital experts that you can work and grow with
  • ability to influence the company - we value your opinion and nourish a feedback culture
  • flexible working hours and being able to work remotely when you feel like staying in your pajamas
  • cool office with a great vibe, good coffee, fresh fruit and (somewhat) healthy snacks • weekly team breakfasts, monthly team dinners and occasional retreats,

  • MacBook and any other gear you need
  • unlimited self-development budget with freedom as to how you want to allocate it • relocation budget if you need any help moving to Poznań
  • free English lessons
